Dubai Land is an umbrella term for the neighbourhoods and communities that are not located by the sea but about 15 to 30 minutes inland from Dubai. In recent years, many villa neighbourhoods with gated communities (e.g. Arabian Ranche 1-3) have been built here, consisting of detached houses and villas between 200 and 2000 m² of living space. Each of these residential complexes, which are very popular with families, has its own restaurants, kindergartens, playgrounds, swimming pools and even malls.
